Day of Interview:
- Make sure you know where the interview venue is, how to get there and who your contact person is.
- Have a contact telephone number for the person you are meeting should you be delayed.
- Allow yourself enough time for travelling and unexpected traffic and arrive in plenty of time.
- Bring a copy of your CV/Application with you for your own reference.
- Turn off your mobile phone prior to the interview.
- Dress well, neatness is essential.
During the Interview:
- Greet the interviewers with good eye contact and a firm handshake.
- Introduce yourself courteously.
- If you are unsure of what you are being asked, ask the interviewer to repeat the question.
- When answering questions, show your interest and understanding of the role and what you are being asked.
- Keep to the point – don’t start to wander away from the topic.
